Ok here's my problem. I bought gothic 2 (english version) way back, and yesterday I went in a general store where I spotted Night of the Raven gothic 2 addon. I bought it, ran the install, everyting went smooth until I tried to run the game. I wanted to run gothic2.exe ( blue icon now) but it didnt do anyting. So I checked which process were running and I saw gotihc2.exe, but nothing happened. oh, its supposed to be version 2.7.0, the addon that is.
So I searched on the net to find an answer, nothing helped. Then I tried a nocd crack ( i think it was a german one) and the game started!!! it played the new video nicely, I thought it was all ok, but then i came to a new character who was just a little away from xardas's tower, but there were no dialoges, I could only ask questions, but there was no conversation.
Does anyone know what could be the source of this problem?

Oh man, I've did it. Had to search the net quite some, to find a nocd fixed image and mount it and it worked. I realy didnt think I would have so much trouble with it. But in the end im just happy its working as it should!

If you have something installed that creates a vertual drive, A120% for instance, the install often fails to create its own vertual file system. If you have something like norton antivirus running, that screws up the install.
By the way, G2 Gold play disc is disc 4! |
