I have killed the black troll when I shouldn't have done, I was doing the test of Fire but didn't find the Magic Golem and so guessed that the bridge that I was pointed to was the one just before the Troll.
Anyway I have killed the troll and taken the skin, on the way back I found the Golem which was much easier (one hit as opposed to the many required for the Troll).
I have now started Act 2 but was wondering if having killed the Troll if in doing this I have prevented myself continuing with the game later on? |

Nope, just save the skin. You'll be given a quest by someone to kill the troll and bring the skin as proof.

if you talk after killing the black troll to grimbald you get 50 EXP in chapter one 100 in chapter 2 150 in chapter 3 and so on
