Apprenticeships and gothic 2 guides I can buy.

Hey all,

Can i join other apprenticeships after I join the boyer? if so how? The smith won't talk to me anymore, more he does not have anthing else to say.

Is there a guide I could buy somewhere for Gothic 2?

Thanks a million

You can only join one master, Bosper, Harad and Constantino. There's no turning back.

For guides to buy, try looking at online game stores somewhere. They should have it if it exists.

Well, I suppose there is that German guide to all three Gothic games that was done by the WoG community...

There will be an excellent guide right here very soon (I hope) as several are working on it as we speak. You can also get a fairly extensive guide at this site:

http://www.ellusion.no/ellusion/

As to the guild question let me try and explain it this way. Becoming an apprentice to Bosper (the Bowyer) is not truly joining a Guild, neither is becoming part of the thieves guild for that matter. This just is a job in our modern day sense (except you can't really quit this one and get a job with say Harad the smith). You don't truly become "guilded" in the sense that the game uses the term until you either join the Militia, the Monastery, or the Mercenarys each of which set you on a path which will allow you to finish the game with their own special talents, quests, and problems. A touch that many of us who have played this game numerious times really have come to appreciate.

My advice to you would be make your choices and continue to follow your quests without worrying that a decision you make will prevent you from finishing the game. There are many twists and turns in the game, and multiple solutions to any problem you face, apart from forgetting the "Eye of Innos" when you go to the Dragon Isle in the end you can do just about anything and still finish the game completely without cheating, heck I think you can even forget the eye and the game inserts it with a letter from Xardas saying your stupid and he will come kill you if you keep messing up like that. At least I assume so from looking at the insert codes and playing around with things for some time now that I have completed the game multiple times fairly from each guild perspective.
