| Save Merik the Grand Mage |

I got to the end of the ice caves, saw Merik in the ice - apparently frozen - but I can't do anything but move on from there. I can't seem to 'rescue' him or anything, and the journal isn't updating so I know that I haven't completed the quest yet. I shattered the ice around him and he is just standing there is a 'frozen' position. |

Actually, I think I did. There is nothing else targetable in the room...back to a saved game it sounds like... |

For me the ice he was in broke with the icon for destroying crates and barrels and such. Any luck yet?
