Stickey: Sneak - not stickey

Got the game last Thurs-Fri, and been "winding" ever since. My first two chars were pooly made (male fighter+/- and a male wiz+/-) and didnt achieve much. The 3rd seems to be working- a Female woodelf {wealth w/o measure} I go sloooo and am impressed with most all aspects of the game.

Sir Smedley - is in the Vivec Foreign Quater (spoiler) in the eastern sub level (canalworkz) ((the locked room behind the bookseller (that I, at first mistakenly took for a closet))) below the FQ canalworks are 3 parallel canals (#1 accessable from the east c-works #3- from the western) the center one has a temple - in.

Sneak - at lvl 7 I'm at sneak 100. In SOME towns and/or in some places the sneak icon STILL wont come on..... (Who can see me??) And in Pelagid the legion archer is carrying some great stuff--- my Sneak icon was on steady so I hit the "swipe" button, and he STILL managed to catch me. ???????

Vivec is a trip with different sections - different hallways going different directions but for a semi-pro lightfingered soandso like myself, a great town

Balmora is 90% cleaned out (that multi thousandG sword too

Diamonds- in Balmora- you neednt swipe them from the shelf rt in front of her, there's 3 in a locked chest - upstairs - totally unwatched.

Does one have to change their clothes occasionally? ) or is it the Chit armor that has a noticable fragerance? -a serious question-

Born under the sign of the tower (saves pick use for lvl50 or less locks)

TIA.

I think you might be in the wrong forum - this is the plug in forum for discussion of mods and the construction set.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the game though - it seems accepted that only the weight of your shoes effects sneaking, as for when the sneak icon comes up, I suggest experimentation, also my experience has been that some people are harder to sneak up on than others.

Not a spoiler, but hoping for an answer (maybe a spoiler)

Is it, that you cant go "sneak" occasionally, because of that -invisible follower- some were speaking of??

just a question
