Need help in Chapter 1 Docks - sewer gate key

I can't find the key to get into the sewers, where Calilick is hiding (I know he's in there - I've done this before). Where the heck is it? This is almost the last thing I have to do in this Chapter.

There are two ways to get there. One is to fight all your way from a strange house near the Seedy Tavern; the other is to go through the lower floor of the Silver Sails Trading Post. You will need an amulet (obtainable from the lower floors of the Seedy Traven) to get through the locked door.
