You're really not saying much of anything actually, other than pointing out odd situations where my statements don't apply.
I would be happy to know your position on this subject (outside of anything I have written) and if you can back it up with any sources that would be great.
I've been thinking about this subject for the past 10 years. If not for time constraints, perhaps I could express myself better here on these boards and provide additional links and text to sources on the subject I have discovered over the years. But I only have limited time so I do the best I can.

I don't think I've made any broad sweeping statement. I have expressed myself the best I can given time constraints, and even gone out of my way to provide a few links to some other sources on the subject.
I approached this thread with an existing opinion, an open mind, and a willingness to read others' views on the subject even if they don't match mine. But most importantly, I approached this thread with a 'good will.'
Sauron38, after reading your replies thus far, I can see you are more interested in pointing out two things: 1) that given my arugments, I must be a dolt and 2) you are an intellectual elitist, that understands latin.
But if you really want to contribute to this thread in a meaningful way, don't respond to anything I write at this point.
Instead, state your position on this subject as best you can. Back it up with other sources. I will be happy to read your opinion and any sources you provide - because I'm interested in this subject from all sides and less interested in forum head-butting.

I think parents should take some responsiblity and raise their kids instead of plugging them into the nearest media outlet so the kids are out of their hair.
Hey parents, when was the last time you took your kid out and played catch/flew a kite/gone sledding/etc? If you can't remember the last time, it's been far too long!

Nonononono. I'm more interested crossing swords, or, in this one sided equivalent, poking holes. Heck, if I can turn all of the proper nouns or concepts into A, B's, and C's, let it be: it's easier to draw logic trees. The topic is of no import.
