Single player game?

is the spg any good? or does it get quite boring like Icewind Dale did?

Many people think SP portion of the game sucks; if you think IWD is bad, then this one most likely gives you a traumatic experience.

Hey now... I thought Icewind Dale was bad and I didn't mind NWN's singleplayer in the slightest. (Though I prefer multiplayer).

And do not forget the SP modules that exist. If you are not taken by the "official" campaign you can always try out the many excellent modules (too many in some repects, how could one possibly play them all?).

Just to make things confusing I loved IWD and thought NWN SP was bland. Anyway, just get it and play some of the excellent modules.

I agree with EverythingXen; I didn't like Icewind Dale(II was better than I, but still kinda boring), while NWN was a lot of fun! The reason I didn't like IWD(neither 1 nor 2) is because there were no real monks.. in IWD II they just look stupid when fighting - but in NWN, they're great!
