I just love this picture.
And now a little Monty Python/LOTR parody.
Bring forth the ring, Frodo.
You could say "Precious".
I didn't know you were called precious...!
You didn't bother to find out, did you?
From the side you looked...
What I object to is that you automatically treat me like an inferior...
Well... I AM king.
Gondor has no king. Gondor needs no king.
....
Oh, very nice. King, eh! I expect you've got a palace and fine clothes and courtiers and plenty of food. And how d'you get that? By exploiting the workers! By hanging on to outdated imperialist dogma which perpetuates the social and economic differences in our society! If there's EVER going to be any progress...
Precious! There's some lovely filth down here...
...*still talking this whole time* The ring must be cast back into the fiery chasm from whence it came...
Ah! NOW ... we see the violence inherent in the system.
Shut up!
Come and see the violence inherent in the system. Help, help, I'm being repressed!
Bloody, stupid ring!
Oh, Did you hear that! What a give-away. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

"Is this the pointy end?"
But that phonebooth orc was really unexpected.
The Lord of the Peeps - Someone actually took the trouble to do this all?
Some hilarious comments below the pictures:
Gandalf throws as much of the Ring into the fire as he can.
Frodo feels his knees turn to marshmallow.
Lol, I immediately thought - how are they gonna wear the ring?! Riiight, didn't think of that.
The blade that cut the Ring from Sauron's ear! _________________ =Member of the RPGDot Shadows=

Hehe, yeah, the peeps are pretty good. Better than the puppet version. But the puppets were pretty good to. You can find that one here.
Gandalf:
Well, I'm trapped on top of this dark tower for months...I could really use some PC solitare right now.
Saruman:
I'll get you, my pretty...and your little hobbit, too! _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Yeah, I like the puppets very much.
Sauron:I am evil. Here are some magic rings so that I can control your souls.
Saruman:Maybe if you hadn't been smoking hobbit-weed, you would have noticed I've turned evil.
Gandalf:Birds are too scary. Let's face blinding snowstorms instead.
Orc:In Fangorn, no one can hear you scream. AAIIIIEEEE!!!
Gollum:Hold on, Smeagol knows a "safer" way. Really.
Frodo:Wow, that pitiful puppy-dog-eyes look is completely convincing. I'll follow you over a cliff.
Treebeard:Heck, I could get used to this whole mass murder and destruction thing.
Gollum:Look, it's a dark and creepy tunnel. Ladies first!
Frodo:I have a bad feeling about this. (TM)
Shelob:I make Aragog look like the itsy bitsy spider. _________________ =Member of the RPGDot Shadows=
