| Marvin Mode doesnt work - help!! |
|
Please help but don't post about not cheating because i simply want to try marvin out and don't want to have to listen to whiners and their "play the game normally attitude". I do -
So... i can type in c marvin c then it will say "Marvin Mode" up at the top. But when i hit F2 nothing happens - at all. I have tried putting -console on the end of the target location and even went back to default settings to see if that was the issue. nothing has helped. i have looked around the boards for as long as i can and found only one post relating to mine ( the same exact issue actually ) but all the responding posts were about was not cheating in the game - go figure. Please if you have any suggestions or know what is wrong help me out because i am seriously frustrated right now. (having to restart the game 2 times due to bugs  ) Thanks~  |

ow 2 times because of bugs? awfull. Understandeble you want to use marvin mode. But Nezver tried it before, maybe once if I finshed the game or get stuck like you because of a bug. Goodluck

Possible. You see the marvin mode message, so you obviously activated it correctly. The only three reasons I can see why the console doesn´t work are
(1) PB changed the key in the US version. But why should they?
(2) The F2 key is used for something else. Check the controls setup.
(3) Your keyboard is damaged.

Well i just tried it and it worked so thank you very much. It's a new keyboard and a wireless from Microsoft so it isn't broken. THe only idea i could think of was that it must be programed for something else. Anyways thanks again!  |

Hey there MalektheWise,
Sorry to haggle on but i was interested in what you did to fix the problem,
especially Goraths point on the u.s keyboard. We all know that the opperating
system win/me win/xp etc' sets the "country.sys" equivalent to where your at.
Was yours a u.s G2 version on a u.s keyboard?

Ya it is set to the us verson. And as to the keyboard it is a Microsoft wireless brand new infact so that too is us. I just plugged one of the $5 keyboards i had laying around into the com. and tried it - it worked!! Hope that helps if not tell me to say more... i am giddy right now  |

This does sound as if the MS keyboard is broken. You should test another program which uses the F2 key.
