do you have the real game, or just a copy??
if it's a copy, it is nomral that it happens... becuase there is always a copy protection on a game cd.
it is always an other ptotection... and in this situation, it is a protection that makes it impossible to hit creautures.

You obviously posses an illegal copy of the game. I don't think you will be finding the solution here...

-Update all drivers, including chipset and IDE.
-Disable CF card readers, etc. in the device manager.

Actually, you can use a no-cd crack on legal copies as well, HWF. But then it would be an easy matter of switching back to the original *.exe and problem should be gone...

Yes, if no-cd crack is causing it, then stop doing it that way.

Yes, yes offcourse. But, I'm not even trying to assume anymore that people really backup their original cd-s and then and only then use a no-cd crack. I know too much to fall for that.

Sometimes an aggressive copy protection mechanism slows the game down considerably. Then a NoCD crack can give you a performance boost. Happened with Morrowind, I heared.

It sure did. I almost doubled my framerate with a nocd in that game.

I had the exact same problem, after re-installing it worked fine.....was just strange cause things worked great first time through, but then all of a sudden in chapter 2 it started giving that message.

Ok...It was mentioned and talked over but no one ever gave an answer. Yes I run an illegal copy. No, I cant buy a legal game because I live in the most f***ed up place ever (Lithuania). It is impossible to get legal games here, unless you are rich enough to ship them from abroad.

One warning for asking for how to disable the copy protection and another one for offering FTP access. Without a good reason you would indeed have been banned for this. RPGDot does not support piracy.

Prepare to get warned. Or even banned.

So could anyone please e-mail me (izmarel@one.lt) a straight answer to this question: How do I disable that protection?!

P.S. The one that is going to come up with an answer to this will get a award...And that award is an ftp account to one server with alot of stuff (we cant talk warez and shit here right?)...

So, please, all you smart or "hax0r" people think, your help is needed!

You are right. In some countries games are not published or they worth a fortune to get them.So try Windows XP WITHOUT Service Pack sometimes copy protections have to do with the service pack of the system you are using
