I managed to get by the first one without killing him (on the bridge to one of the focus) but to get to xardas' tower I think I need to kill another one. Can anyone let me know how they got past him, because all of my methods have failed

Like in every other RPG. With a hammer.

You can buy one (or steal one) in the NC or SC!

Any blunt object will work, like Spike Clubs for instance.

Very close to the first there is a cave, with a door.

Inside there is a chest, with a free "Orc Hammer" that is the probably easiest to come by, most damage making, blunt-weapon you can find.

Thanks, i tried to find that one, couldn't, then broke down and spent the 1100 ore on a nice fancy hammer at the 'home depot' in new camp. it did the trick, plus it came with a warranty so i can't complain.

Go to the bridge that leads to the Orc Cemetary.
Do not cross.
Go up the slope, and you see a fallen tree. Take to the right of it.
There you see that you can follow a path next to the cliff. (Made of grey rock).

When you have passed that part you will end up in an area that feels "dead". The treas are dead and the ground is burnt. If you take to the left, you end up at the bridge with the bridge golem.
Take to the right.

In the first cave to the left, there is a door. Go inside, and you will find the Orc Hammer in a chest.

U need warhammer to kill him, it kills him the fastest like it says in the golem scroll u can find in water mage library...also it tells u how to kill fire and ice golems, cause u will need those to get by to xardas, u have to kill all 3 to get to xardas (hint)...
