I bought my current system so I can tell people when they can use it or not. I convinced my little brother, little sister and older sister to buy systems for themselves. I don't have to share anymore. My older brother convinced me to buy my system so I'd stop using his.
So, now none of use ever have to share.

Or to know enough about system administration to not allow them to mess it up beyond their own account.

g2 requires higher

How can G2 not require a higher spec if it has textures at twice the detail?

It is likely to be twice as slow given the same draw distance - so it is a matter (once again) for a selectable draw distance to determine how well it runs on a PC of any power

I for one can run it 60fps+ (G1) with everything maxed, but would it be capable of that with G2, given the same maximised settings? I don't think so

scalability, that's the key - and possibly a setting for 256x256 or 512x512 switchable textures

I would like to see ANISOTROPIC support (to x16) as well
Makes a HUGE difference
