Ice spells seem to do nothing to this golem, and he runs round happily in the lake, underwater!
Any tips? |

Yeah, I'd like to know this too. Ice Block doesn't do anything to him, which is odd because fireball worked like a champ on the Ice Golem. Normal weapons don't phase him. Fist of Wind didn't seem to do anything either.

I used Ice BOLT on him and that worked ok. I didn't try electricity though, you might want to give that a whirl too. I think that ice block simply doesn't have enough stopping power, perhaps. Did you try using the Ice Golem's heart as a rune and casting from that? Perhaps that would work too. |

I used the ice golem's heart, but it only does a notional 30 damage, and made no impact AT ALL, despite repeated shots.
I'll try ice bolt as you suggest. Then cheat. |

Don't bother trying to cheat.. The "kill" cheat doesn't work on him.
Ugh, looks like I'm in for a long walk.

ICE Bolt works, but you have to cast a lot of them! Its the only ice or lightning spell that seemed to damage him. |

I fetched myself an Ice Bolt Rune and spanked him with that. Well, at least I only had to walk one way. 
It's funny how slow that thing is. You can pop off a few ice bolts on him, back up a few steps, then pepper him some more. He never managed to even hit me.
I do think it's odd that you can lure him in to water and it doesn't kill him.
