Sacred, Patch 1.7

Our distributor published localized version of patch 1.7 just on Monday. During weekend I finished my first run through (with battlemage, version 1.6.something), so I installed version 1.7 and started once more - this time with gladiator.
What are your impression, did you already installed this new patch? The game seems to be much easier and I am not certain if this is because of this patch or the gladiator is simply easier than battle mage.

Though the patch 1.7 has tweeked a lot of the characters skills, the barbarian defently has the easiest start in my opinion. I know that they have upgraded many of the battlemages skills, and I can really feel the difference on my mage playing the "silver" level. I focus on only two "skills" when I upgrade, Fireball and Icering. My fireball kills 95% in one hit, and it's still under 3 sec. to recharge.
I got a combo with 3 fireballs, that takes care of the boses.

I've not played the gladiator for awhile, but before the patch I felt that his game got harder and harder, like I couldn't follow the increasing strength of my opponent, perhaps because I spread his skills over 5-6 skills, og maybe because he is not proper balanced to the later gameplay. But I will probably try him again, hench I got some new ideas on how to focus his skills.
