Controls-controls-controls

How difficult would it have been to include in the Manual a complete list of ALL Controls? Not much but it was not done.
I would also have thought that the FAQ by Jemy would have listed them but,no,only the basics are there. I would have thought that there would be a "Sticky" thread here for Controls, since it apparently is a problem area of the Game-but again, none found.
Anyway, will appreciate it if someone will be kind enough to give me the answers to Controls used for:

1. Diving:
2. Sneaking:
3.Pickpocketing:
4.Jumping:
5.FistFighting: Jaz has already pointed out that the ^ is the toggle but that only means that it is shift + ^;and it does not work simply because it always brings up Magic spell. Even if I drop all Magic items and try shift + ^
it does not work either as long as I have a weapon or bow equipped. IF I get rid of Weapon and Bow it is still useless because I do not need it then to Fist Fight since I will automatically Fight with my Fists if I have no weapon equipped. Please enlighten me on this one.

Thanks.

1. Diving: not sure here, it's been a while ago for me. Perhaps action + move when in the water...but that's just a wild guess at the moment.
2. Sneaking: 'a' is the default key for that
3.Pickpocketing: sneak + action
4.Jumping: left/right Alt)
Action is, by default, left control.
You can re-map your keyboard in the options. I prefer using the keyboard/mouse combo.

I always used the '~' key for fist fighting.

I use the mouse for swimming, diving. The arrow keys plus the right mouse held down. The keys point you in a direction. Up arrow/dive. Down arrow/surface right/left go right left. Think of it as a body floating on an axis. Everytime you hit an arrow key once it changes the axis. Then once you are pointed in the direction you want hold down the right mouse.

Also jumping/climbing. Right mouse held down up arrow. The controls are listed in the demo.

So if the controls ARE listed in the Demo, then why arent they listed in the Full Version that the rest of us received? Dont get me wrong, I enjoy the game, but you do have to admit that it did come with very little information, let alone support.

You would be the first to say the English Gothic doesn´t come with a readme. Some people even said you can find two readmes in your Gothic folder.

btw., the manual is a POS and the German version was even worse.
