Well, the tower thats near the ship wreck was part of the chromanin quest. You get a lot of experience in that quest (around 15K) by killing the monsters and stuff. somewhere in there you find a book (think on the skeleton mage) Which is a riddle, you figure out where in the map you could find the next chromanin book, the location is the answer to the riddle, theres 5 books, then you return to the tower to find the last part of the chromanin quest (which is supposed to be the some amazing information that the sailor who made those books knew). Quiet enjoyable, its never mentioned by any NPC in the game tho.

You will have to swim to the entrance. When you are in, dive. After a lond underwater swim, you should see a place, when you could get out. You are in.

There's really no point to the fog tower, apart from maybe some fun, adventure, frustration and experience points. Want none of that? Don't visit the fog tower then.

There's this incredibly frustrating 'U' shaped tunnel of water you have to swim through to get in the sunken tower. It's narrow. And swimming underwater takes some getting used to. Plus you might just scrape the walls swimming up and down it, causing a frustrating jerky camera effect. But nobody's ever complained about it openly 'cept me.

I found the first one near the beach with the broken boats and I was able to go in old necromancer tower(although this last one not seem to me to be involved in this quest cuz even with all the chests opened the diary doesn't change ),but all the remaining ones are missing to me

Well,I'll waiting for an answer
