another BG2 question....may contain possible spoilers |
|
This is my second time around playing this game. The first time, I got to about the middle of the game, then Morrowind came out and I stopped playing. I recently installed it and started to play again from the beginning. Where I'm stuck at is the part in sewers, going after the cultists. There is a secret door, not the one that leads to Heardalis, but the one that leads to the Illithids. I've been through this door before with no problem, but on this game, it's locked, and I can't remember how to open it. I've tried knock spells and Nalia's thieving skills. None of it would work. I've also disposed of the people guarding it, and found no keys on thier bodies. Do any of you guys know the solution to this one? oh, and I've also cleared the level, including getting rid of the Beholder, and it still won't open. _________________ Live by the sword. You need a specific key to open that door. You'll find it on a Shadow dragon's corpse. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Thanks Val, guess I need to level up some before I can go through that door then. _________________ Live by the sword. Die by the sword.

To add to what Val said, it isn't in the city. |

Nor is it on a Shadow Dragon's corpse.
It's in a table guarded by a ressurrected cameo ogre from BG1 in Windspeare hills. The key to the door to Haerdalis is also in Windspeare hills guarded by a nasty wraith. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

Hmm, I could have sworn that the Shadow Dragon has something to do with that cave. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

the key is from Firkraag's (the big red dragon that gives you the Holy Avenger) dungeon, from his one of his minions. _________________ "It is not that power corrupts but that it is magnetic to the corruptible." |

Gah! Now I remember what that Shadow Dragon has! It's the Crom Faeyr scroll. And the Hammer of Thunderbolts is in that locked area. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!
