Quite early in the game,just after i got through the goblin portculis with my gemdealer's badge and signed notice, the trolls waged war on me for no reason. It might be a glitch but all trolls apart from the one who left the troll vilage. Could someone tell me how to get through this without starting agein. Thanks

Don't know why that was, other than a glitch, unless it was you didn't talk to the King to get the open the caves quest? If you have a save game to go back to just before that, I would try from there as well. You loose two side quests from the trolls. But if you don't care, you can just kill them, free the one that is locked in a cell, and still open the tunnels. If you haven't fought them yet, try going back to the goblin area level 2 and wind back to room 17 to see Grue if you didn't already. He wants a present. Go back to city and see the snake lady and get that, come back to see him again, and maybe the rest of the trolls will leave you alone.

I'm not good enough to kill the trolls and i don't know how to get to the city.

If you haven't been to the city yet then you may not have to kill them. Go behind the troll camp, to the left of it, and down the stairs. You will see a door on the right. That will lead you to an are that takes you to city.
