Those new ones are right from the GC, they are great.

There's one missing, though. There supposed to be six new ones. There's also one with a close-up of a pack of Hornrammer.

i wonder what the screenshot would look like if the lighting and shadowing system would already be implemented because as you can see there are no shadows in it. And because of this the screenshots look a little bit like paintings imho, don't you agree ? But apart from that the world is very detailed. I don't want to be too picky but didn't PB promise us that the characters will look as good as the models you can see in Half Life 2 ? In the Daddelnews interview i can read that they have a lot of work to do in this section because the animations aren't smooth at all.

@Jazzy:

You should update your first post in this thread so it contains every screenshot link for easy reference.

Ah the ones from the new article. The first ones that really looked like in-game screenshots to me, and actually has a feel of Gothic to them. Looks promising, as their graphics department still has 6 months to tweak it and make it look grand.

D'oh! It's a pre-alpha version. They have to do a lot of work in everything, not just the animations.

Those are nice ones Jazzy. Especially the third screenshot is amazing. And in number 4, you can see that when somebody wears a sword on his back, the sword is actually in some sort of leather grip. It doesnt stick to his back like there is some glue on it.

What's wrong with you Sem, it took you nearly a week for replying

I know that it's a pre-alpha, Sem. I only wanted to point out that they, well, have a lot of work to do and that i hope that this work will be put above all into the animations because i hate bad animations.
