Well, the world in Gothic II will be three times bigger (and THAT will be an adiction). And of course the classes. I thing this won't be like camps in G I, I thing you will be non class at the beginning, and you will have to join a class in a specific place (like mage guilds).

I don't thing so. In G I you had to join a camp to get to chapter 2. In G II , i thing, it will be the same.

I don't see why people are so concerned with G2. It's officially(sp?) announced that G2 uses the same engine as G1 but with improvements. If anything it will match G1 right from the start. We know the people at PB can write a great story and 'living' NPCs. The only thing I'm worried about is the actual act of slaying dragons...I want to do it NOW.

(Saw Reign of Fire tonight...my new favorite movie )

Well we know how G I looked like, so we speculate about G II by finding differences betwen G II and I Also we can just wait but I HATE WAITING

G2 optimism

I'm an optimist, so IMO Gothic2 is never going to be what everyone hopes it should be - that'll take to Gothic3 and a new revision of the Game Engine to dx8.1/9 to change that (but even so...)

If they just do Gothic1 with more refinement, I'd buy it for that alone

Gothic1 is the start of how RPGs should be done. End of Story.

Ang Gothic III will be better than Gothic II and... it's normal that sequels are better.
