One of my characters is drained.
Is there way how to cure him (her)? I tried everything - spells, potions, but I did not find something that helps.

Yup, you need a spell/potion called Restoration. It's a 9th lev. Priest spell. The potion is pretty rare, but I think I saw one in Fuzzfasses shop in Trynton...it might be completely random, though.

Danicek: Drained and Diseased is the two worst conditions in W8. Disease can be cured by expensive potions and later magic. But drained can only be cured by a very expensive potion. I think it's called "Renewal". In general keep these Vampire Bats on a distance

And if one of my characters is drained for long time (maybe 20 hours of playing time) and I need to cure him...
Any idea where to find this renewal potion?

I have a hard time remembering where to find one, they are very rare to find. In Arnika I recall that the Priest in the temple sell this potion, but for a high price (for beginners that is).

Thank you, I will visit him. I have around 30 000 gold, so it will be maybe enough.

Sure, it costs around 4-5000 if I remember it right. Don't forget to read the label on the potion before buying it, if i should remember wrong about the potion name! It clearly should say something about curing "Drained characters".

Long way to go...

If you should need a little hint on fast travel on foot:
If you toggle the walk/run button to "Run" You are able to outrun every monstergroup, if you not are getting to close to them(use radar), and can cross the maps in no time. However your characters loose stamina during running, and miss the opportunity to search areas for items. The stamina can be regained very easy: Use "Rest" (camp) button, After the first few split seconds of camping the Stamina will be filled up, and then quickly abort "camp" again (to avoid encounters), and you are ready to run again.

Really, I must have overlooked that. I know it cures health, but not that it cures everything? I guees I wasn't that sick when I used the pool to be aware of it's full power!
Regarding the potion "Renewal". I'm quite sure you can get it in Arnika. It's nice to have one with you in any case, however the vampire bats are not that common in W8. The merchandise each merchant have change over time, and I'm sure the priest will get the potion eventual, but I think maybe also the female "herbalist" in Arnika may have/get it.
