I'm from Sydney originally, so I'm glad I dont have to appoligise on behalf of anyone for things nearly getting worse for G3. _________________ Druid |

I'm very, very unhappy with these statements. This is about the same thing as what hapenned to Interplay and Fallout 3.
Interplay started having money problems so they started cutting off their small games. But then they didn't make enough money from the licenses to continue with the large games and slowlyy but surely, Interplay kept selling all their licences, firing most of their employees and stay behind every other company. Even though they used to be one the greatest publishers.
If this happens to Jowood too, the only advantage G3 has, is they aren't a part of Jowood, but instead PB is a separate company. The bad thing is, they will have to look for a new publisher who is willing to buy off the publishing rights from Jowood.
Interplay now has one employee, I think and the boss. I think they still have one or two publishing licenses, but they lost all of their major titles. Fallout 3 had a lot of luck that Bethesda has taken the developping rights over, but otherwise, it would be a great game going to the trash.
Hopefully, Jowood will recover and Gothic 3 will be published on time. |
