Free Weapon From New Camp

This is for new people in the game usually without any strength or XP. It's cheap easy, and by all means it will help you out by getting a 20 dmg weapon.

Make your way over to the front gate of the new camp there will be 2 guards there waching the entrance. Behind them will be a ladder leading to the top of the gate. (Keep the ladder in mind.)

At the entrance of the gate, there is a small ledge gradually going up. Follow it cautiously, and you will stumble upon a pack of Snappers. DO NOT attack them, step into there territory and catch the attention of 1 of them. (Save before you attempt this.) Slowly back away and always keep your eyes on the snapper, they have a tendency to charge when your back is to them. Slowly walk down the trail again leading to the gate, and keep in mind that you do not want to catch 1 of the snappers attention and just burst off, down the hill as fast as you can back to the main gate. They may lose sight of you and give up.

When you lead the snapper down the ledge make a full sprint towards the gate and start to climb the ladder. This will get the Snapper roused and enter the New Camp. The guards will see it and run away, or attack it. This get the Snappers attention off of you and toward the guys with the weapons.

A Snapper is much more powerful than any of the rouges in the paddys, after it finishes the two Gate Guards, the Rice Paddy Workers will get scared and go back to their huts, leaving the Rice Master, and his two henchmen to deal with it.

The snapper will finish them all off and your left with alot of good starting weapons. Stay out of site of the snapper and it will go back up the trail to its friends.

GL with this tactic, learning acrobatics will help you with this task.

This if i may say so is really dumb cause then u don't get any quests from any of the people there like the thug that gives u the querst to give water to people !!!
The only good thing is a starters weapon!!!
The bad things are : 1. No Xp from any of the people there.
2.You can get those weapons later on in the game without killing any of them !!!
3.You don't get the Xp for the snappers later on in the game !!!!
4.You can get very good weapons very early in the game without having to use this tactic !!!!
And i'm sure other people here have other reasons ot to do this !!!

"You can't learn acrobatics without experience !!!!"
-Sorry typo there, you need to have some XP for the acrobatics.

"2.You can get those weapons later on in the game without killing any of them !!!"
-Yes, but having a 20 dmg weapon at the start really helps out, it allows you to gain more XP from monsters and people. Plus you don't have to spend a dime on those weapons, which is sold there at the New/Sect Camp for 100 or more ore, which is alot of currency to you at the beggining.

"3.You don't get the Xp for the snappers later on in the game !!!!"
-I said the snappers generally go back to their part of the cliff once done killing the gate guards or any of the others they see. So you can kill them and gain there XP.

"4.You can get very good weapons very early in the game without having to use this tactic !!!!"
-This is a non-linear game so there is and should be other options than that in a game like this. I was only suggesting one I really enjoyed figuring out myself.

Another way is to buy a bow, buy a good deal amount of arrows and snipe out the blacksmith in the Old Camp, this may take alot of 1-2 shots and running away from him and the guards that see you attacking and hurrying over to a bed to sleep in the morning so they forget, anc continuing this untill you kill him.
He smith is loaded with iron parts and steel, so it makes up much more than the cost of buying the bow and arrows, plus you can now make 20 dmg swords. This was also a fun tactic.

Why buy a bow? You find a free one in the Old Mine.

Yes but u can have those weapons when u go later on to sect camp and there r other quests which r easier to do !!! in them u can win things and/or xp and with them u can just get better weapons and like jaz said u can find a bone bow in the old mine !!!
explained in JemyM's FAG and also in the forum !!
And better swords u just get with time !!! and u din't need to worry bout money once u can go into castle and u learned lockpicking !!!(even earlier)
and if u r so desperate about money u just buy one raw steel from the blacksmith !!! make a weapon sell it!!! buy another raw steel and like that u can go on forever until Ch 4 or 5 when something happens !!! But u can do the same thing in sect camp too i think !!
