how ever the more complex things will take abit longer for me to make seens im still new to this and have to learn alot of it first

yer its not the most busy tread here at the dot .. and i've been abit busy
but i havent forgotten about the mage axes though .. i'm still trying to come up whit a decent desing for them

something that looks kind of elemental for fire and for water maybe the axes can look something like the robe but you should consintrate on who gives what to you (I know i talk alot) oh and make the fire mages 1h and water 2h cause you can not learn 2h as a fire mage as you can a water mage

firemages sword and axe are now done
still need to come up whit a desing for the water mages weapons
and also a necro sword

hey if you ever feel like makeing character models, then playing as a ranger from LOTR movies would be so cool, especially with that green cloak!

BTW, nice job with the weapons, its nice to see someone making new models for gothic

how about you get the coresponding weapon when you get the robe or when you enter the circle orfor xardas when you meet him them when you get 6th circle

but as for now i would like some opinions on a few things

first one is for scripting
so far the script goes like this .. if your not a member of the guild that the weapon belongs to you'll die .. kinda like the tears of innos in GII ..
but i was think of changeing it abit .. so that the firemages weapons can be used by firemages, watermages and necromancers seens the other mages ranks higher watermages weapons can be used by watermages and necro's
necro weapons will only be for necro's
would this be totalt overkill or would it make sense ?

second one is for the high watermage weapon
i was thinking insted of makeing it a two-handed axe then makeing it a two-handed sword .. but some how the idea of a mage whit a two-handed sword doesnt sound right to me ..

what do ya think ?

details about how to get the weapons are roaming in the back of my head ..
i had the same idea whit the weapon being handed to you .. but it wouldnt fit whit the dialog .. but its still not complitely ruled out
i'll work on the details of it when im done whit the weaons and start on the altering of the game
