George's killer and another vamp?

Ok what kind of resistance do I need to be able to withstand attacks from that cave vamp and the vamp who killed George? They usually are killing me in one blow. And how many points of that resistance is needed as well?
Also any info on how to kill a war drummer would be greatly appreciated. I am a warrior using a mushroom cutlass or something that does poison damage but this isn't helping as he can pound on me really hard and heal himself.

Poison Weapon is very effective against Orc Drummers - they'll drop in a couple of seconds. This is different (and more effective) than Poison Damage but you'll need to buy/find/make poison for it. Freeze is effective as well, as is Skeleton Wall. I know you're playing a Warrior but I think a couple of non-warrior skills would be helpful (Poison Weapon is so powerful it's almost unbalanced although some mobs are resistant).

I can't tell you too much about resistances and Vampires. By the time I encountered them I had developed enough skills to deal with them without too much trouble. So you're in Verdistis already? Have you finished as many quests as you can to maximise your level?

I'm level 13 and trying to do as many quests as possible but unfortunately alot of them are still hard for me.....I did Mardaneus's quest already...and a few others here and there.....but I get my butt handed to me alot by travelling heavy orcs, war drummers, and various other critters. And running to the guards for help is useless since I am stronger than most of the guards and they die right quick after a short butt kicking by orcs. The lesser orc variety are easy for me to kill but no longer give great experience rewards.....trolls are easy as well....corpses are a little difficult but can be dispatched with a little effort. I also tend to run out of money quick due to having to buy lots of healing potions since my game is kinda buggy. Sometimes when making potions all the flasks are used up in one shot....no matter how many times I search my inventory they seem to be all gone. Not every time....but quite a few times.

It sounds like you should be trying the Cursed Abbey quest right about now and leave Verdistis alone. I'd also suggest exploring the sewers before hitting Verdistis.
