i didnt get the book " Landscape of the outside world " i guess because i didnt meet Greu till later in the game and now dont know what to do other then restart the whole &#@% game....any suggestions? |

Here is the right sequence to finish this quest:
1) Talk to Greu - you will get the "B-Day present" note in your journal.
2) AFTER the trolls' strike is finished, explore the troll camp (level 3 I think). In one of the most distant caves (which used to be Greau's room - you will recognise it by art artefacts) find a troll friend of Greu. He will tell you that Greu have never seen the outer world.
3) Go to the snake woman-librarian - she will give you the book.
4) Give the book to Greu. He will be very happy 
Alternatively, you can kill/pickpocket the snake woman to get the book.

thanks for the help. i did all i was suppose to get the book, just did it to late in the game i guess. i ended up just killing him ( hated to do that i really liked the ol' boy, he just wanted a friend) , but saved the game to where i could go back if i found a better way. Didnt even think about pickpocketing it though. i'm going to try that. although I havent been able to pick pocket anyone yet.......only 35 skill on stealth |

Yuo don't even need to pickpocket the snake woman. Just kill her and take the book!
