You guys are doing no wrong,
It is strange why thousands have played this game yet only few (maybe two)
have ever found the old man, the one who wrote the books, and now it seems the whole thing is not really "hidden" at all, it is in there but we all run past it, just a bit more thought, more "listening to the dialogue and taking notice of what is being said and answering correctly, and re-checking, going over some of the actions/dialogues again to see if there is something different - - - and there is !!! |

I don't think it's surprising that noone found this before. Most players just go through the game, and the talented ones are here If anyone will find something, he will be from this forum. _________________ http://kevan.org/brain.cgi?megadav!count |

You got that right pal. The best players are here.
I'm sick and tired of coming back here and cynically reading this post. Today, I'm going to go home, start from scratch, and start looking myself. I've already printed out this thread.
If we're being played by this guy, who cares? It's the best game ever - I don't mind replaying it.
Wulf, I admire your drive & vigilance throughout this, and your patience with others on this post. Megadav - I think your previous posts were exactly right regarding the existance of this guy. I've got your back. _________________ Funny how? |

No, megadav. Not there. This is very interesting, in light of this latest clue. The switch I found that only works at night is at the same place where you meet the one who was banished. And the room it reveals is through a false floor (doesn't that sound familiar?).
It appears that Wulf has made the connection. It's fitting that he should be the one to find the Stranger (again). Wow. This is gonna be cool! |

Shit. I thought that if I become a Necromancer and give the letter to Xardas, I'll know more. But I can't do this. Milten takes the letter automatically just before I become a Magician of Fire. _________________ http://kevan.org/brain.cgi?megadav!count |

Do I've the ability of giving Xardas the letter (in the begging of the game) instead of giving it to Milten . _________________ (Firefox_Mythos)(Παντος)Reaperfox(Ρουβαλης)Tezafox Katsaridoktono(Ντουσικος)Che(Ταγαρης)Crusader(nokos)shadowfox(Μηχελης)aquafox(Στελιος)thunderfox_gomos(Γιωργος) |

Maybe we can give the letter to Xardas if we don't join the Fire Mages. Maybe not. _________________ http://kevan.org/brain.cgi?megadav!count |

There's been a lot of previous discussion about trying to get the letter to Xardas. As far as I know nobody has ever done it.
I don't think he's the "one who was banished" anyway. There is another character in the game who definitely is banished. |

@ squeek: xardas is the only one banned well of human kind, the only other one is or_shak or was it ur_shak not sure anymore and what about the one guy that banned himself from the rest of town? that one in the cave, you even get experience when you find it. you were talking about a secret door? where is it? and that room that changes depending on what part of the game you are? is it there where you meat orshak(urshak) for the first time? _________________ Want to become a vampire? a warrior in the battle between vampires and werewolves?

Ur-Shak, I guess. Well, that's a possibility, too, but I still think that Xardas is involved. _________________ http://kevan.org/brain.cgi?megadav!count |

Hello to all guys, it was a lot of time since my last post(I was busy with my regular job and getting gentoo gnu/linux working on my new pc), but now I'm back and ready for some action!
Only 1 problem:17 pages of posts are too many!
Could please some one summarize the important info about the old guy and the books? |

Hello back. Well, it's about wolverine_men, who offered an Alienware to the first person who shows a screenshot of the guy alive, before Xmas. The guy is the dead one at the end of the Chromanin quest. So good luck . Wolvo gives us clues in riddles, and we're discussing them. _________________ http://kevan.org/brain.cgi?megadav!count |
