Yeah I agree that it's somewhere in between IWD and BG2. There isn't as many side quests as BG and not as much toing and froing (sp?) (epsecially if you have a paladin in your party (makes the Fell Wood Children quest, that you had problems with, very easy ))

I did enjoy BG2 though as I'm the kind of game that like to find everything in a game and BG2 was the king of hidden extras (think of the houses in the docks and bridge area that have nothing to do with the main quest). Still must get back to IWD2 (while I still have some spare time left)
