You have to turn all of the tiles on to get it to work. Does making an H turn them all on? I don't remember..
I think there's a little cutscene if you did it right, and then you should be able to just click on the door to open it. _________________ Member of the "Fantastic ONE"

The tiles you need to step on:
code: O X O
O O O
O X O
The order I stepped on them:
code: 4 X 3
5 7 2
6 X 1

I had a tough time with that too. I knew I had to make the H but it was hard. My character kept stepping where I didn't intend her to step. I was just about to give it up and come looking her for the solution too when I gave one last try.
I went up the right side to the top, turned and went back to the middle and across to the left side, down to the bottom and up the left side. It worked. I thought I had done that before, but the game was picky about how I stepped. _________________ SilkenKidden

Yeah, I didn't like this bit of the game either. Didn't seem to work as intended. Character movement isn't precise enough to control individual steps over a short distance. |

You know the method val silkenkidden and ican used is the HARD way.
As a matter of fact, it is so hard I cant do it. I tried a long time. I went back to an old save to try to do it that way, and I cant. I experimented using mouse look, using more than one character even.
Thats hard. Heres the easy way.
ok do almost what val describes except for step 7. so just do 1 2 3 get off then 4 5 6 get off.
ok get off the thing. go back to the tile she is calling 5. go straight through it so u hit what she is calling 5 7 and 2 and the thing opens.
No coordination required. |
