Hey can anyone tell me how luck affects your character? It affects your chances at winning the bets in the arena but anything else? Does it affect the amount of magicka burned for casting a spell? Anything else? Should we give advancement points to luck on level up? _________________ Magic RULES |

Luck affects almost everything in Oblivion, usually in a very small way.
There are really two approaches to power-leveling a character: the first is to get three +5 bonuses on each level-up and to ignore Luck completely; the second is to get two +5 bonuses, and always put a point into Luck.
I'm told a Luck of 100 behaves somewhat like a +20 boost to all attributes, but given that you can only increase Luck by one point each level, by the time you get close to 100 all your other attributes will be capped anyway... But in the meantime, every two to three levels your attributes will all effectively improve by a point.
I'm not really convinced there's much difference between the two approaches - given the pros and cons things seem to balance out in the end. I definitely recommend trying a Luck-based character, though! _________________ Charlie Dobbie
