Can I modify AI characters?

Was wondering if one can modify AI characters? Specifically, I'd like to some of the characters who are "invinsible" to something more realistic.

On my first run through G2, I found it very annoying that there were so many invinsible characters, even at the very end of the game when they had no plot role to play.

Is this possible?
Can it be done by editing scripts? or do I need to educate myself in the intricacies of modding G2?

thanks!

Hey there otwist26,

If you are able to use marvin, then:- HOSH1 makes all immortal and HOSH2
makes all mortal. But you must not forget that killing a critical storyline character will mess up your game, so save before you try.

Wulf,

Thanks! I must have missed that in the marvin codes.

I particularly want to make the city gate guards mortal, to knock them on their butts if they decide to cop an attitude, esp. late in the game!

Hey there otwist26,

I understand what you say, but it's very hard (unless your a programmer) to keep the settings after a save, (they re-set back to default)

If you possess the selected character, say the gate guard, then edit his abilities, alter the Flag F=2 to F=1, then possess back to pc-hero, the gate guard will be "kill-able" for as long as you "don't save", Certain story-line npc's
will automatically repsawn so not to corrupt the game, (even after you kill them!) I have seen where a npc is stood next to his "dead" double!
