Gothic2 merchant prob

When i played gotic2, before i could get the the same price as the value of some ware. but now when i try to sell any thing, I don't get enough money for the ware. For example wine. The value is 20 in my inventory but as soon as i'm going to sell it i only get 6 gp for it. why?

you will come across that in every frp. selling items isn't profitable, but it's the best way to get rid of the stuff you don't need.

the hidden purpouse behind this is, for example, if you find a good item that is no use to you and you wish to sell it. if you would get a full price for it, you would soon be very rich, as ussualy in frp games you come across many items in the game. so it's quantity that counts, not quality. at least for selling...
and on the other hand, things that merchants sell are ussualy extremely high (in gothic series, the prices are quite low in comparison to other games)

that way things are more balanced. don't worry, you'll get rich soon enough anyway. I never had problems with money in the game. the last time I completed the game, I had over 60.000 gold pieces in my pocket.

the value under there means mostly how much it costs by the sellers for example if u wanna buy the wine u know how much it costs allready the value says 20 so its 20 gold pieces and offcorse sometimes the value also means that u can sell that item for that kind of price for example dragon scales u can sell for the same prize the mercs or dragon blood or shadow beast horns etc etc
