Using the NA release of Gothic, v1.08j, etc etc.

I've bound the status key to C to keep it out of the way while typing in MARVIN, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Pressing F2 illicits no response. I seem to have followed the steps listed in the forum (yeah, I actually read before asking, heh) but no reaction is apparent.

Any suggestions? Or at least an idiot-proof breakdown of the process? I'd really like to boost my points a bit and get some skills sooner than later.

Hrm, okay, I got it to work finally, but only on saved games, not new ones... not sure what the deal is there. And it's all in german, heh, so I'm having fun guessing what does what.

However, using the "insert ch" command, it only allows me to boost one skill... such as str +10 or bow level 1, etc etc.

After that one upgrade, the only option is to join a guild or END. I'd like to max out my skills if possible, any suggestions?

The F2 mode won't allow for use of an underscore, i.e. _

Any other suggestions?

D'oh. German keymap, grrr! (shaking fist) Yeah, I noticed the y and z keys seemed to swap places. The voice acting is a marvelous translation, but something like this is a tad sloppy.

Thanks, I'll try it again.
