I have at some time ago heard about some CRPG games, which should have been on there way, but I don't know if they are abandonned, or just far from finished:

Stonekeep 2 : Interplay???

Darkmoor: Coqinteractive

Deliverance from the dark : Studio blue??

The amateur scrolls: Independant???

Shadowbane: Wolfpack studios?

I'm not sure about the developers, or if the games have changed there titles. I hope anybody knows a more "up to date" informations on any of these games?

I can help you with Stonekeep 2 (abandoned) and The Amateur Scrolls (gone like so many fan projects). The Amateur Scrolls were hosted on our old blinkingdot server 15 months ago, but the project just died.

Shadowbane is under development - but rumor goes they need some money injected (aka find a publisher) to continue and finish their project.

"Of the others", the elven high king muttered with his dark voice, "I do not know."

I can only give some extra info on Shadowbane. Their site still updates frequently. If you search for shadowbane news in our game section you should come up with some 12 newsbits over the last 2 months, which is not so bad.

Sad news for Darkmoor: Coqinteractive & Deliverance from the dark: Both are cancelled or on hold, which is pretty the same...

Too bad, Stonekeep was a pretty good game. I remember really enjoying the intro when I first saw it.

You guys are so full of sad news, but thanx anyway.

It seems that only shadowbane, is going to be the only surviver.

I think I heard once, that stonekeep 2 was developed in high secrecy, but it may only have been a unreliable rumor.

Yes, the Stonekeep 2 rumor keeps on going. It's one of those rumors that gets stronger and stronger the more they say they are not working on it.

Yes, Stonekeep 2 has never been official announced by interplay, and I guess Myrthos resumption about the rumours is rigth, he-he.

The more you guys are saying it, the more I am thinking it is coming right around the corner. Don't tell me Interplay got to RPG Dot with their conspiracy! I wonder how deep this Stonekeep 2 thing runs! I bet Bill Gates is in on it. I wouldn't say I loved Stonekeep 1, but it was a decent game. I played it all the way through, but I wasn't riveted like some other RPG's.
