You maybe will not find it in one discussion and I really want to know your opinions.

I do not want it become huge, but there are periods, when this forum is really dead.
One of possible ways how to improve visit rate of this forum is to try to ask sir-tech to add us on their official list of forums here:
http://www.wizardry8.com/
They allready have there list of three forums - at Vault Network, at Software specialist and at IronWorks.

What do you think about it? Do you think I should sugest it to Rendeius (or say him that I am ready to work a little bit on popularization of this forum?)

Yes more traffic is good, those other sites are lame. This is a nice website, not just for Wizardry 8 fans, but for all CRPG fans; people should know about it, in my opinion.

I agree. RPGDot seems to pull off admirably what all the other RPG news sites want to do, i.e. provide news coverage, easy-to-access forums, etc. More visitors would be great.

Well, what are we waiting for! Christmas! :smile:Let's ask Sir-tech to get a link to W8. And maybe all other CRPG games here with some size, should have a link from their developers too.

I appreciate your efforts. In fact, they are more than welcome. We simply lack time to promote the site very much - we rather concentrate on adding content and make it easier to access (you will be delighted to hear that personalisation of the site is already working, meaning that you will be able to decide which news should be displayed and other stuff like that, we are just adding more functionality to that feature). Any help in promoting our services from you will help us all.

Is there any way that other members can join your request? i.e. a petition or something? Perhaps someone from sirtech will jump over to this site and see the quality here. Seems to me that these forums have (generally speaking, of course) the least amount of flames and spammers of any of the forums I've been to. Kudos to the moderators and admins for keeping that to a minimum! Here's hoping we get ourselves an "official" link!

We will see. We will wait sometime and if they will not add us, then...
I wrote them little bit about RPGDot, but I am nearly sure they know about it.
(in references, they have more than 10 reviews and second is form RPGDot).

Do you know any other good Wizardy8 fan page? If yes, post it here, I will try to contact them and ask them to add link to our forum on their pages.

IGN has a good one. I don't know if it's still going, but Linda used to post a lot. I think that IGN forums are now Insider only, but I'm not sure.

Yes, those are still active to the public. I believe that is the board that is the 'official' board...and LCurrie still posts to it periodically; you can bet that she and perhaps more of the devs are reading those posts regularly..

I visited this site frequently while playing through Wizards and Warriors, but I noticed they just started posting stuff on Wizardry 8 as well, and they don't have a link for RPGDot yet.
