But do you play a game like Gothic on your PC with a gamepad? I just can't see playing an RPG with anything but keyboard & mouse. I could never get used to gampads on *any* system. Just can't get my head around it. (my fingers don't do much for me either)

Well, as I said, consider the installed base of PCs out there.
Morrowind can stay work-in-progress for quite some time. It'll be worth the wait to have a game that works well.
I'm just as happy that Gothic will be out soon....

Well I don't actually have a gamepad. I have never had the desire that I must have one, because I play games just fine with mouse and keyboard. But I can still see how well a game like Gothic could fit on a 4 button gamepad. I think it would be a nice interface to the game.

Morrowind would be came just in the spring of 2002
I Think Morrowind would be much better than Gothic, but you can play it by waiting for Morrowind

Well, Morrowind has much colors but the dark flair from Gothic isnt the true, i find it not so dark how much people say.
But, i dont wont to say that Gohtic is bad!
It is a super RpG with a gramdious Grafik and a sizeable story! Buying it, would be NO mistake

Hehe, why do you think they called it Gothic? You really cannot be expecting a bright and colourful game.
And I don't see the point in comparing, unless you run on a really low budget for your games. They'll be a season apart and both look really good.

If I had to choose between the two I'll choose for Morrowind. Why? Well, let's put it this way, I saw all the available movies and read all the available information about the game.
Truly amazing.

Vincent, I agree with you that Morrowind looks absolutely stunning, but you overlook one thing: You have to play a demo to really know how this game feels. All the infos you have now are only PR stuff.
Donīt get me wrong, I hope Morrowind delivers whatīs promised.
One more thing, I saw Bourrie and you at the Elderscrolls forum. Why donīt you answer this one guyīs question where he can find a Gothic review?

Ok Gorath, I've missed that one. I've searched, found and answered his question. But nothing forbids you to answer them when you see them.

Iīm no member there and thought, it would be inappropriate to register only one Gothic-spam post.
Somehow it seems to be Gothic-time again for me. |

Well there are not much RPGs coming out every year. I think everyone got the money to buy those highlights like Gothic or Morrowind.
Simply buy both games.
Oh and i guess you can complete Gothic more than 2 times before Morrowind is even released

Aww, c'mon! Daggerfall's bugs were so much fun! I thought it was the funniest thing to fall into the void! (This sounds like sarcasm but I'm serious.) You can't tell me that after like 4 hours of playing and not saving, then you fall through the void and just see black, that you didn't even chuckle a little (after the anger wore off)?
I love bugs in games - it makes the game fun once you're done playing it for real. Try to see as many bugs as possible.
