downloaded visigothic and player kit to piranha bytes folder. I open the gothic starter but the only thing in the left is GOTHIC THE GAME VERSION 1.08, which i assume is the original because it says that below the start gothic button in the box. Well i click on the start button but nothing happens, i keep seeing a message at the bottom that reads
Calling gothicmod.exe
game:gothicgame.ini
but nothing ever happens.
I am a computer idiot and need some major help. Thanks in advance. _________________ Sit Ubu Sit |

Have you downloaded patch 1.08k yet? _________________ =Farseer=

You need to install the player kit corresponding to your version of Gothic first, then the VisiGoth mod. _________________ Jaz |

Sounds like not all those files are in the right place.
VisiGothic consists of two files:
VG12Eng.mod, which has to end up in in Gothic\Data\Modvdf\
and
VG12Eng.ini, which should be in Gothic\System.
If these files are already in the right places, then it's probably your player kit installation which is the problem. Do you have the right version for your version of Gothic?
