slight technical problem

when i've tried to start a game, i get a long beep sound and the game freezes. i've downloaded version 1.17, is there an older patch for this problem or are the old versions of patches included in the new one? thanks alot.

This is the full patch with all older items in it. I would suggest you unintall, reintall then install patch and then try. Besure you have your virus protections turned off when installing the game and patch and also when downloading the patch. Besure you manually uninstall any JoWood files before reinstall of game. Hope this helps. I did have a similar issue and worked for me.
