I think vampires will be great. Are there any in Gothic 1?

Nope, the only undeads in Gothic 1 are the skeletons, skeleton mages, and undead shamans.

There is some equivalent of vampires: the Harpies. They fly at least.

I like the idea anyway though it's a bit different story!

God they scream scary! I have been approaching the mountain castle about midnight and their screams have frozen blood in my veins.

and how about demon knights? like the kind in Diablo 1. that would be really cool. with the great Gothic graphics, they could make those suckers truly terrifying!

I'm pretty sick and tired of vampires and demonic creatures after playing Diablo2 and Baldur's Gate 2. I think extra creatures is not what Gothic needs.. it needs to be bug-free, and more non-linear(making it bigger).

That is my hope for Gothic 2; a bigger, better version of Gothic 1(of course with another map, and other areas, but you get the idea).

Yes! Vikings and Barbarians!

I would also like Clansmen!

Kinda a mix of Templars and Mercs

Celtic Clansmen with tatoos and painted faces!

Definetly!
