Potions?

I’m one of these people who reads manual when the game is being installed, and when I hit some difficulties, and if I don’t see index pointing me to the right page with full explanation with less than a sec, aggravation begins.

This is related to (among others) making potions or combining them, although you can find literally hundreds of kilos of magic liquid I still like to experiment with it. So please will somebody direct me to the page that actually explain HOW to make that damned thing, or better yet just explain.

I remember very vaguely that making potions in DD you had to have empty jars or bottles, so after the first act I expected to find at least few since I have hay stags of grass.

Also, I invested over 8 skill points into one-handed weapon (slashing, damage, etc) and yet my knight chooses kicking, hello.

I've noticed that if you open your inventory and click on the herb, a submenu pops up asking if you want to make a type of potion. I haven't bought any points in Alchemy so I have actually used it.

They have done away with the whole glass bottle thing. Just collect the 7 (or 8, can't remember) different coloured alchemy plants and right click on them in your inventory. With some points in alchemy you'll get an appropriate menu choice. Extraction is automatic without bottles.

Yup, making potions is easier in BD, but I don’t have any options to combine potions together, when I do the right click on the potion all choice I have is to give to…, (and I have the right skills: extract and combine)
