Sorcerer's Place offering free hosting for CRPG sites

Sorcerer's Place, arguably the best D&D cRPG site around (and hosts for sites such as RPG Codex), dropped us a line to say they are offering free hosting to compatible gaming sites that meet some simple criteria. Head here to check it out.

Tal's server isn't capable of taking us. We are already maxing out a dedicated server as it is and Tal'server isn't better than ours. Besides that Jolt is the owner of the domain so it can't be moved anyway.
We will be divided over two servers in the near future, to balance the load better. We believe that would take care of the problem, that and a speed enhancement in the software.

I'd get you a fast dedicated box, Myrthos.

But anyway, as Myrthos said, the point is moot, since Jolt bought RPGDot.

*sniffs* ohh well i guess all these relevant ads for shooters and ps2 games will be our fate now then. I wasnt aware the whole site was sold though, i thought jolt was providing space in exchange for the right to plug shooters to a role playing audience Anyway ill stop whining about responsetime of the server or the adds This is the best rpg newssite by far and i thank all the editors for making it possible.

I would be delighted though if anybody could tell me how i can block addservers that only have an ip like for example say ermm... 82.133.85.64 I have my hostfile setup to block normal addservers but jolt was way ahead of me already using only the ip.

thanks!
