Help in the Temple

Hi, I just figured out how to get to the 3rd switch in the Temple of Akbaa where you have to disable the security system to get to the meteor. My problem is, I've flicked all the switches, but the bridge doesn't appear. I've tried turning them on and off in a bunch of different combinations, and have tried turning on the speed boost thinking mabye they have to be flicked within a certain time of eachother, but nothing has worked!

Am I missing something obvious? Any help would be greatly appreciated

did you read the Arx Guide and follow the steps expalined there?
If you have a savegame, please try to redo the three levers, if not, please send me the savegame and I will have a look

me too

Yeah I got same thing...
Did you manage to resolve it?
I pulled all the switchs, even the one in the pressure plate room, to no avail.

I have read through the walkthrough trying to get help.... No luck.

I didnt do them in order, I did the middle one where you fight the golem first, and then the rest in correct order. I didnt do the 1 1 3 thing though..

I am running 1.1.5 by the way, and its really frustrating.
I have tried reseting all the switches to go do shany quest, then coming back.. Earliest save game is way after it, as I did shany's quest in between...

Please help!

Do you have a golum heart?use it on one of the golums.he will follow you and have him stand on the pressure plate waa laa it should open a cut scene of the bridge opening up..save before you enter the room theres a hell of a demon to fight!!

I went through that part of the game twice. Luckily I saved at the beginning before entering any of the three rooms.

The first time through I did it in reverse order of what the walkthrough says because I was not reading it. double doors, middle room with out 113 and killed golem, and then pressure plate. Nothing. So I run all around trying to figure out what I missed, but all to no avail.

I finally got tired, loaded the save game, and pulled up the walkthrough. Following it I flipped the switches in the order of: heart, pressure plate and switch, 113 and switch, and double doors and switch. This in turn gave me the cutscene and the bridge was there.

I am wondering if order matters?

Another thing I did different the first time through is attack one of the Golems. I couln't kill him and he just walked around after me while I was running around trying to figure out what to do. The second time through I made sure not to touch any of them except for the one that I put the heart in. maybe that is why the bridge would not lower?

I'm more inclined to think attacking the golems causes the problem as I've done it twice in differnt order and both times it worked without a hitch.
