Missing Inventory Items

Somewhere in the last hour of playing, my items for the Mage quest have gone. SPecifically, the flask of water, and one of the pieces of clay.

I did not sell them - I move all my quest stuff to one page. I definitely had them before I went into the graveyard, but they are now gone. Is there any way of getting them back? I am playing the patched version of the game.

This is SO frustrating - I went in there FINALLY finished the quest, and now the stuff is gone.

Did you die and respawn at the temple? Sometimes quest items will turn up in the pool at the temple if they seem 'lost'. I've had them spontaneously dissappear from my inventory and reappear there every once in a while...
