I must say I really liked this game. Been awhile since I've enjoyed an RPG this much and I will need to replay this one through a couple times joining different camps and using a mage or a ranger based strategy.

My only complaint about this game is what I call the 'magic dance' or 'fire dance'. Thats where you get hit by a spell that has linger effects and all the character does is 'dance' on the screen while taking damage allowing you to be hit again and again and again until you die. They might as well just make spells instant death if they allow this. I even had this happen at the very end and I was wearing the enhanced ore armor and had my magic and fire resistance up to around 80 each.

With the sleeper, if I was caught out in the open with a fireball then I danced but I found that if I was engaged in piercing a heart, all I did was take damage and I was allowed to continue on. And that there is my only real complaint. How magic/fire affects you when trying to fight. (I had other complaints but those were taken care of....may Mud rest in Peace)

Since there are so few opponents that uses fire attacks you can grab protection stuff and use against only thoose enemies.

This can also be used to your advantage when solving the game as a mage.

Best Regards
