What does the holy water you get in the beggar's nest do?
I also have a worthless ring I got in Blacklake, anyone know what that does?
How about the moonbow chalice? |

The holy water is used in the creation of weapons at the blacksmith.
Those other two items are quest items for the NPCs. The ring is for the monk and the chalice is for the cleric. Go turn them in for your reward. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

The problem with the special items for your henchman is that you not only have to have them in your group to bring up the quest but you have to talk to them on like 3 different occasions on different days. I personally like to solo so having to deal with henchman is just a bore. Later on though...the henchman items are pretty freakin great so I guess it might be the time to drag along a nuisance _________________

You don't have to talk to your henchman on different days, just have to be a high enough level. If you are high enough level, you can just keep talking to them after they end the conversation. _________________ Oh, freddled gruntbuggly, thy micturations are to me....

Where is the cure for Sharwyn?
I've done all the NPC quests in chap. 1 except this one, and she is the NPC I use. How frustrating. |

I found it... in some house... ehm... does that help?
Oh, in the Graveyard and that special house in BlackLake, is it possible to open the doors that have chests and odd notes sitting next to them? _________________ Make good choices. |

The doors with chests beside them (3) are part of the head priest quests. I forget the founder of neverwinter's name, but it's basically finding his tomb. You get 3 chests and later you find 3 ceremonial items. 1 item in each chest per the note found (a little riddle). Then you can find never's tomb. _________________ Oh, freddled gruntbuggly, thy micturations are to me....

Somewhat spoilery:
I'm at the end of Chapt. 1 (well, I got all the Waterdhavian creatures) and I'm deciding what I should get Marrok to make for me. I've settled on a Chromatic Breastplate+1 and Harbinger kin+1.
Is this worth it?
Also, are there more diamonds and adamantite later in the game?
I assume there are more smiths, as well? _________________ "It has been a grand journey- well-worth making once."

I saw this in a movie about a bus that had to SPEED around a city, keeping its SPEED over fifty, and if its SPEED dropped, it would explode. I think it was called, "The Bus That Couldn't Slow Down."

In Chap 4 (I think) is another forge. It makes the same items, but of higher magical quality (Harbinger +3) SO....remember to put an extra backpack somewhere in your inventory that is dedicated to holding onto ironwood, diamonds, etc. I made it to chap 4 with my rusty, trusty Greatsword +3, but I'd dropped the ironwood in chap 2 and never found anymore to make the Harbinger +3. SO disappointing.
Same suggestion goes for those who make magical items. Put those reagents somewhere and don't drop them to make room! _________________ Whenever I feel blue, I start breathing again.

1. Get all the bags of holding (zero weight) you encountered - good for holding stuffs.
2. Fairy dust, dragon blood, gargoyle skulls are pretty common in later chapters.
3. IMO, there are better armors but not weapons in later chapters.
4. Some weapons from the forge have level restrictions. |
