I'm having problems with Gothic crashing to the desktop when I try to fight a group of monsters. I don't have problems when I fight one, two and maybe three monsters but as soon as there is four or five it dumps. I read some posts and I'm going to try changing the sound provider and my GeForce drivers. Anyone else have this problem?

My computer:
1Ghz Pentium 3
Geforce 3 Ti200
Soundblaster Audigy
Win 98SE

The sound provider alone should do.
I had the same problem. Got an error message with reference to 'mss32.exe', a driver for the miles sound system.
There are some posts on this topic in the troubleshooting forum.
