Advice wanted from the Math Nuts |

Hi eveyone,
I am messing around with programming a 3D engine and I realy need to brush up on my advanced math skills.
I am looking for a book that will cover the following subjects in enough detail to let me build a 3D engine, but not overwhelm me with too much info:
Vector Algebra
Matrix Algebra
Linear Algebra
Multivariate Calculus
Does anyone have any recommendations?

You are soooo lucky goshuto got to you before I did! He, at least, supplied links to modern books related to the topic ... I would've suggested some text books that are good for math, but a tad weak on the practical application side!

@Chekote: I've read the first edition of the first link. It's a good book if, as you said, all you want to do it brush up and revise some skills. It's not a pure math book, it's applied math as used in Computer Graphics. It will also teach you some very useful algorithms that could take quite a while to implement if you were to write them by yourself. I liked it, but be aware that there are other books that might do a better job at teaching how to write a 3D engine from scratch (as opposed to just concentrate on some basic math skills).
@Lintra: I find problems in Computer Graphics very cool to solve, but that's as far as I go with math. I find math, even applied math, to be incredibly boring in most other fields. @Chekote: it's hard to tell whether the book you mention is good or not because it doesn't seem to be published yet. But it's mentioned in the Real-Time Rendering page (another good book, BTW, but not for what you need), and that's good enough for me. Until the book's out, you might try reviewing what you need to learn from the myriad of tutorials available online. Some good places to start your search for them would be:
