Drawbridge Problems in chapter six

I killed the dragon in chapter six and am standing in front of a chasm. I try to shoot the switches on the wall to make the drawbridge come down. I can shoot the one on the left. But as I try to shoot the one on the right I am pulled into the abyss. Any answers

Very strange, just shooting would work. I suggets you take three steps back away from the chasm and try shooting from there, I'm sure it will work out.

otherwise you could just restart the game and play to this point again

You can't shoot one, but think about this: I couldn't shoot them 'cause I didn't have one single bow or crossbow. Damn!

you can buy arrows from Diego if you took him with you I don't remeber a bow seller though : of course by that point I was carrying half of khronsis on my back including hald a dozen bows/crossbows with tons of ammo each, why dump them if you can take everything you want anyway?

Near that dragon before the bridge are a few chest with;

a shortbow
arrows

The developers made sure that any want would be able to get past this trap, even when you didn't bring a bow with you.
Furthermore you need absolutely no skill to his the switches. Just make sure you lock on to them, so get to the right place to have a clear shot, and shoot.
