ok listen up ,my girlfriend start agame of G2 n wanted to plyed a real honest paladin (u know girl) she tell Andre about the thief guild ,n she never have Matteo and Gritta quest (Shes level 10 now ) what can she do now for having picklock beside cheating with marvin (is it possible with marvin if yes how??) thorben tell her u got to be honest , gee she c ant be more honest

Is she already a citizen?
If not:
a) Get the blessing of the Gods for Thorben. That will be enough for him to learn you how to pick locks.
b) Try to get the quest from Matteo (and Gritta), as far as I know that should still be possible to do if she isn't a citizen.
If yes:
a) Try to steal Lehmar's ledger, he's the moneylender in the harbour district. You can use pickpocket for this (but you'll need to get involved with the thieves' guild) or just kill him. Give the ledger to Thorben.
b) If the thieves' guild is still alive and not already killed by the militia, you can first learn it and then "arrest" them and kill them. You don't have to join them to learn their skills.

If she hasn't done Matteo/Gritta, then she can't be a citizen, that's the only way Matteo will help. If she talks to Gritta and doesn't do any bloodshed, then Thorben will teach lockpicking for a total of 200 gold. He might still teach of you haven't done Mattea/Gritta, but I think he asks for 200 gold straight off.
